Benagil Cave – Every Hole’s A Goal

 

Vagabundo Travel’s ‘Let’s Chill at Benagil’ tour. The only tour taking tourists right inside the famous Benagil cave. While we’re inside many boats come and go, but there’s no getting sand on these tourists toes. At Vagabundo Travel in order to reach the cave, we gather up life jackets, inflatables and boogie boards and make the 60m swim around the cliff. Some days are not as calm as others, but that only adds to the adrenaline and results in a sense of achievement when entering the cave. Once inside there’s never any rush as we like to give our Vagabonds as much time as they need to explore and obviously catch that all important Instagram selfie or Facebook profile shot.

Our day doesn’t just stop there though, after thoroughly checking out the cave and making the swim back to the beach, it’s time for a gourmet picnic. The Vagabundo lunch provides everything either a carnivore or a veggie could desire. Our homemade hummus and famous garlic cream cheese have put smiles on many a ravenous backpacker. Now that we’ve all got to know each other the next hour on the beach is for listening to great music, soaking up Portuguese sun and enjoying the company of our new friends.

To finish the tour just like seagulls, we head to the clifftop and enjoy the breathtaking views of the beaches below and an impressive look down into the Benagil Cave. The drive home to Lagos   often sees a sleepy bunch of Vagabonds – amazing how tiring a day at the beach can be. But there’s no rest for the wicked, after your day out you’re gonna want a night out. With so many great night spots in Lagos and with hosts that like to party, you’ll be in safe hands.
