Your Tour Guide
So my name is Brodie, I’ve been living in Lagos on and off for 17 years. When I first found Lagos I would work the summer season and head back to Australia via Asia when things would quieten down. This lifestyle lasted three years, working countless jobs in Lagos each summer, bars, restaurants, boats, hostels, baby-sitting, construction – I tried everything and left each winter to work in Australia. In 2012, after three years of working more than 30 jobs Vagabundo Travel was started. For at least the first five years it was just a hobby business, showing people all the places I wanted to be at and making enough to live the Lagos dream. In 2017 I met Jess, my wife just a year and a bit later, and this is when Vagabundo Travel first started to take shape. I guess as I´ve got a bit older, I´ve realized so have a lot of my guests. I started taking my walking tours serious in 2019 and they´re now one of my prime activities. Over the last 5 years I haven´t been growing the business but rather trying to perfect the tours I take. Covid happened and after Covid, Jess and I celebrated the arrival of the most precious thing on Earth, our daughter Paislee, who just today celebrated her third birthday. I´ve been taking the vast majority of tours on my own for the last five years and will continue to with a little help from my friends in 2025. I like to think if you take a tour with me, you´ll leave with a pretty good indication of the person I am.
Here are some of the things said about me and Vagabundo Travel that will always bring a smile to my face.
